1. Standard Engine Warranty
Our scooters come with a 12-month engine warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty covers manufacturing defects in the engine under normal use and conditions. It includes:
Engine malfunction or failure due to manufacturing defects
Parts related to engine functionality
Warranty Conditions:
The scooter must be brought to our store for a required tune-up every 500 miles to maintain the warranty. Regular maintenance is essential to keep your warranty valid.
The warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
2. Extended Warranty
At the time of purchase, you have the option to purchase an Extended Warranty for an additional $180. This warranty extends your coverage for a period of 24 months from the date of purchase and includes the same coverage as the standard engine warranty.
3. Warranty Exclusions
Our warranty does not cover:
Damage caused by accidents, misuse, abuse, or neglect
Wear and tear on non-engine parts (e.g., tires, brake pads, batteries)
Modifications or alterations to the scooter made by the owner
Any issues arising from failure to follow the required 500-mile tune-up service
Cosmetic damage such as scratches or dents
4. Exchanges and Returns
New and Zero Miles Scooters: Exchanges are allowed only if the scooter is new, with zero miles, and in perfect condition.
If a title has been issued for the scooter, a $250 title re-issuing fee will apply for any exchange or return.
5. Responsibility for Loss, Damage, or Theft
After Purchase: PROSHOP MOTORS is not responsible for any loss, damage, or theft of the scooter once it has left our store or warehouse. This includes any incidents occurring during delivery or after pickup.
Out-of-State Shipping: For out-of-state orders, once the scooter is transferred to the freight company, we are not responsible for any damages, loss, or theft during transit.
6. Service Requirements
To keep your warranty in effect, it is your responsibility to bring the scooter to our store for a service tune-up every 500 miles. Failure to do so may void the warranty.
7. How to Claim Warranty
If your scooter is experiencing issues covered under this warranty, please contact us directly or visit our store. We will inspect the scooter and assess the situation. If the issue is covered by the warranty, we will repair or replace the defective parts at no cost to you (excluding any shipping or labor costs).
8. Limitation of Liability
The warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of defective parts and does not cover incidental or consequential damages.
PROSHOP MOTORS is not liable for any personal injuries, property damage, or other liabilities resulting from the use of the scooter.
9. Modifications to Warranty Policy
We reserve the right to modify or update this Warranty Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the “Last Updated” date will reflect the most recent revisions.
